Another custom commission is finally complete! These images show a 4 foot tall wood plank that has been lovingly sanded by the client before they gave it to me to paint and decorate. SO sweet. So much thought and effort was put into the planning of it all! i am making up coordinating stickers that can be written on to mark the date and Emily’s age at each measurement point. The art is done is such a mix of media! Acrylic, watercolor, marker, colored pencil, gel pen, ink…even a little Sharpie! It was important to me to get a storybook, watercolor-y, and colored pencil texture to it all…but till get crisp edges and contrast with the fine tip Sharpie.
