…and so it begins
So, i’ve been tweeting a little about my new project with Milkboy Recording. In an effort to bring attention to www.feedthemuse.net, i’m doin a video ya’ll!
Feed the Muse is a fundraising website for independent artists. You should check it out. Their home page has a short clip that is a little something like what i’ll be doing, drawn by Todd Marrone and accompanied by the music of the Fleeting Ends. Isn’t it great that they’re using local indie artists and musicians!? The clip shows a series of individual illustrations strung together. What i’ll be doing is one, big, detailed, crazy. sprawling one that you see from start to finish. Oy. What have i gotten myself into? AGHHH!
My buddy at Milkboy came by earlier and set up the boom cam over my drawing table/lightbox. Tonight i do my first screen test – haha. Not sure if i’m ready for my closeup! But i’ll keep everyone updated and you KNOW i’ll be posting a link when it’s all done.

I could never do something like this, I draw upstairs and then I go downstairs. Then I take it in the car with me (in my Moleskine), then I’m on the sofa, then I’m in my office. I could never sit and draw one piece in the same place. Not sure why…
But this is a great idea, I hope you’ll let us know when it’s posted. And I never heard of Feed the Muse, it’s now on my radar!!!
