Makes me think of eating watermelon on a lovely summers day. Speaking of tutorials….I would LOVE a tutorial on creating some pretty artwork like this! Always wanted to dabble with water colours, but get a bit stuck with ‘book instructions’ and wanting to be perfect!

I just ordered your book- can’t wait! I am wanting to know what kind of brush you are using in the above photos- I am inspired to try!

hi cat : ) thanks so much. the brushes are “waterbrushes” by NIJI and they have a reservior in the handle so you can squeeze out extra water through the bristles to moisten or flush color out of the tip. truthfully, i wish they held more water since i work with a lots of water when i paint and mix colors : ) but still fun!
