Instructions from Apple for adding images to you iPhone: (note: first click on the image you want, then drag it to your desktop)

1- Connect the iPod or iPhone to your computer, using the cable that came with the device.
iTunes opens automatically.
2 – Click the iPhone icon in the left sidebar of iTunes, and then click the Photos tab. (it’s the last one on the right)
3 – Select “Sync photos from,” and then choose iPhoto from the pop-up menu.
4 – Select the photos you want to sync to the device: all your photos, your most recent Event, or particular albums.
NOTE:If you’re syncing to iPod, you can sync the full-resolution version. This is a good choice if you plan to move the photos from your iPod to another computer.
5 – When you’re ready, click to begin the sync, and the photos are added to your iPhone photo album!
